Alpha-v2.4.18-mini is the capacity-compressed counterpart of v2.4.18, designed for controlled-comparison experiments on standard hardware (Mac Mini-class). The compression follows an isolated-variable principle — only feature-space dimensions shrink; the architectural structure (depths, mixer layers, distributional granularity, planner topology) is identical to the full model.
The motivation is to test whether the v2.4.18 architectural ideas — chiefly the symmetric CrossSampleCenter — survive a clean capacity reduction. Changing dimensions and architectural primitives at the same time would confound interpretation; pure-size compression isolates the capacity effect.
