Alpha-v2.2 is a full refactor of the v2.x stack under the Simple_encoder design philosophy — minimalist architecture, no compositional layers, two independent gradient paths.
The core changes versus v2.1: the shared encoder is split into two real nn.Module instances (one for actor, one for critic); the LatentReadoutAdapter is replaced with a TransformerEncoder cross-symbol mixer; the distributional quantile critic is replaced with a scalar twin-Q (TD3-classical); the ResidualSkipHead is dropped in favour of a 2-layer GELU MLP. Roughly 5000+ lines of architectural change.
